We're not your average shop. Inspired by the spirit of the North, we're a curated collection of high-quality, hard-to-find gifts, handmade goods, vintage treasures, and goods with a unique, timeless feel. We're a safe and inclusive space where everyone feels welcome. We're looking for a part-time Retail Associate who's as passionate about exceptional quality, friendly service, and creating a welcoming environment as we are.

What You'll Do:

• Be the face of North Left: Greet every customer with genuine excitement and help them discover something amazing in the shop. 

• Share your love of unique finds: Know the stories behind our handcrafted goods and help customers find treasures they won't find anywhere else.

• Curate a delightful experience: Help us keep the shop looking its best, from merchandising displays to wrapping gifts with a special touch.

• Become a gift guru: Help customers find the perfect present for every occasion (even if that occasion is "just because").

• Spread the joy: Share your enthusiasm for our products and contribute to the one-of-a-kind atmosphere that makes North Left special.

• Champion inclusivity: Ensure every customer feels welcome, respected, and valued in our shop.

• Part-Time Support: Approximately 20 hours per week. Thursday-Friday 10:30-3:00 Saturday 2:00-8:00 Sunday 10:30-3:00

• Marketing Support: Based on your interest, skills, expertise, and experience. Social Media content creation, newsletter creation, etc.

• Flexibility: Most weeks the hours will be daytime, but weekends and evenings are our busiest times, so some availability during these periods is essential.
